Selection and Adaptation
Ladak DL was Selected 15 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming from old stands of Ladak subjected to drought and spring and fall grazing.
Yield Performance
Ladak DL out-yields Ladak 65 in Montana and Idaho tests by over one ton per acre.
Quality
Ladak DL produces more milk per acre and has a higher relative feed value (RFQ) and TDN than Vernal.
Survival under Dry-land Conditions
