1S-1085 is adapted to the San Joaquin and Imperial valleys of California and the lower desert valleys of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
1S-1085 is especially selected to yield and persist in the presence of Phytophthora, Verticillium wilt, nematodes and crown rot complexes. This variety withstands the aggressive harvest schedules of Western and Southern cash hay producers.
