Parent stock for 1S-1044 was specially selected to meet the demands of alfalfa growers in the areas where a 4-fall dormancy is suitable. It was selected for yield and persistence and is especially well suited to areas where Verticillium wilt, Phytophthora threaten yield production and reduce stand life.
